Life is at its best when you let every second of each day count. When you allow trivial things to rule your day, even for a short while, when you do randmon act of kindness towards others in small means and forms, by just letting go, dismissing the what ifs and what nots.

When you suddenly stop in the middle of a busy hour to take a few seconds to stretch and smile for no reason, to pick up the phone and make that long standing phone call to someone you had a rift with (whilst fully knowing and standing by your stance that you were not at fault, but initiated the call anyway) and basking in the afterglow that comes after...

when you are once again at peace with your surroundings, because at the end of the day that's what really matters.

and it too passed...

Hurray! We all survived the supposedly end of the world...

The Mayan's probably didn't account for the leap year and DST.  Psy must've been psyched that his Gangnam youtube vid surpassed a billion views without the world crumbling into pieces.

Monseiur Nostradamus must've been talking about something else when he predicted the world ending when the so called horse dances (gangnam dance) and the nine circles getting together (nine 0's in a billion).

Like in his other predictions, he may have been a century year off, give or take... so let us all keep our hair on and enjoy life as usual.

On a serious note, let us all take a moment to reflect on the past years of our lives and be grateful for all we have, do not despair of those we don't and learn to be content, living each wonderful day at a time...

Here's looking forward to the dawn of a new era...

and this day I promise myself....

I will not die an unlived life. I will not live in fear of falling or catching fire. I choose to inhabit my days, to allow my living to open me, to make me less afraid, more accessible, to loosen my heart until it becomes a wing, a torch, a promise I choose to risk my significance; to live so that which comes to me as seed goes to the next as blossom and that which comes to me as blossom, goes on as fruit. - Dawna Markova

if only it were that easy.
